What makes you happy? Are you content with small bursts of pleasure every day – the fancy coffee drink in the morning, some social media time at lunch, the wine with dinner? Do you rely on these and other gratifications to “make your day”?
Let’s look again. Think back to a time you truly felt happy and fulfilled – because you accomplished something you worked hard for, or a met a wonderful person. Happiness doesn’t come as easy as an iced coffee, so you may as well forgo the extra calories. Look for meaningful and lasting happiness by really asking yourself – What makes you truly happy?
