Self-awareness is about recognizing and understanding how your own emotions affect you and your interactions with others. It is the foundation of emotional intelligence and we will go over all 4 aspects of EI (emotional intelligence).
It all starts with us. Being aware how your emotions can drive your behavior and impact people (positively and negatively), will then guide us into learning how to manage those emotions.
We are not as self aware as we think. But it is important we get there so we can then manage our emotions better.
