I grew up in a small town in former East Germany, near the borders of Poland and the Czech Republic. As a child, I roamed forests and listened to pop music on a transistor radio, imagining a world beyond the walls that surrounded me. A poster of the Golden Gate Bridge hung above my bed — a dream that felt impossibly far away.
Then the wall fell, and history changed my course.
I arrived in California with one suitcase and a quiet belief that life could be more. As the plane descended into San Francisco, I felt something unmistakable: possibility.
I built a life. Degrees. Career. House. Family. The markers of success lined up neatly — until they didn’t. What took years to construct unraveled much faster than I expected.
An ending became a new beginning.
I realized I had been managing my circumstances in order to feel happy. In the process, I had lost touch with myself. The only way forward was inward. My quest for my authentic self led me back to the Golden Gate — and this time beyond it, into nature, movement, and a deeper presence with life.
Climbing became a teacher. It asked me to dig deep — for strength, courage, patience, and trust. It showed me that fear is always present, and movement happens anyway. That the summit matters — but the person you become on the way up matters more.
In choosing my life deliberately, I discovered a new version of the American Dream — one that guides my life today.
I pursued coaching certification because I wanted to offer others what I had learned:
The quest for your authentic life begins inside.
Today I work with accomplished and capable people who sense there is more available to them — people who have built full lives and still feel something calling. Together, we investigate what is shaping their experience and create deliberate movement toward what matters.
I offer partnership, clarity, and steady forward motion.
This is my contribution — to walk alongside you as you climb toward a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and fully yours.
