We have the tendency to hold on to emotions, not realizing that this doesn’t make them go away. Suppressed feeling eventually find a way to get our attention – although we may not like it. Physical illness and depression are often signs that we didn’t tend to our feelings.
We need to let them out. We need to find ways to express them so they can be heard. Our feelings are the truest part of ourselves. They are the thermometer of our soul. And we should always keep an eye on the temperature. Its for our own well-being.
