What if everyone you meet has a purpose? To teach us something along our journey? To help us overcome obstacles and be a better person?
I know, it can be hard to grasp when we think of the people that did us harm and hurt us. But I believe even those people were in our lives to help us learn valuable lessons.

I found your podcast after I found your group on MeetUp. I started listening and I’ve been hooked ever since. Your messages and lessons in the podcast have been a lifesaver. I am going thru a divorce after being married for 16 years and I am having a difficult time with letting go and moving on but you have taught me so much and have given me so much to think about. Particularly the episode “A Clouded Mind”, it was just what I needed and I’ve been listening to it everyday and it has helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Thank you for all of your work, you are appreciated.
When I read your message last night on the way back home from the mountains, I couldn’t stop smiling. You made my day with your kind and thoughtful words. It made the often difficult task of writing, recording and editing so much more easier today. Thank you.
That said, I can relate very much to your situation. We become attached to others and 16 years is a very long time. I encourage you take your time and be patient with yourself. Letting go does not happen overnight. Its a process. It takes a long time to love and trust someone, and it takes even longer when we have to detach from this person.
You inspired me to create some more episodes on this topic. I think its something we all deal with at some point in our lives and it is hard.
In the meantime, take some time to dig into some of my older episodes that you may find helpful – specifically 102, 107, 109, 113, 114, 122 and 123. And lastly, check out 202 and 203, which relate to the episode you liked.
And remember – its through our failures and pains that we rise and become better human beings. That is my wish for you.
