Have you noticed how a single memory or experience, when written down, can become something more than just a thought?
It becomes a shape. A doorway. A mirror. It becomes an opening, something you can return to, learn from, and carry forward with clarity.
My personal life has been hectic lately and I have turned turned to the page quite frequently,
-
to get everything in my head out for me to see versus just hear
-
to then arrange it on the page and begin to make sense of it
-
to also capture ideas, sparks and insights I don’t want to lose
-
to sort, organize, to shine a light onto what matters most.
What’s interesting is how the thoughts that need my attention most are often the ones that get buried in all the noise in my head.
But when I start to write, they rise.
They want to be heard. They want a conversation. They want us to pay attention.
In our monthly journaling workshops, we create that space for you. We offer you 90 minutes to slow down and connect—with yourself, and if you choose, with others in the group. It’s an invitation to open the door inward, to recognize the quiet voice that can so easily get lost in the rhythm of daily life. And to invite it into the room.
Writing can be deeply healing through the clarity it brings.
There’s a quiet transformation that happens when we show up on the page—just as we are.
And we’ve seen it unfold in every one of these workshops.
Thats why we keep offering them.
So I want to invite you to write with us again.
This month, we’re changing venues and will be meeting at a cozy local café, next Wednesday at 3.30pm.
The workshop is free to attend, and if you feel moved to offer a donation, it’s warmly appreciated.
[Reserve your spot here.]
We’re also exploring the idea of offering this as an online series, so more of you can join us. If that’s something you’d be interested in, just send a quick reply and let me know—it’ll help us move forward with a plan.
Warmly,
Janine
