Change is difficult because its uncertain. But its in the uncertainty that we become creative and resourceful. But we need to step into it. Know that when something scares you, it might be exactly that which you need to face. We can often get over our fears by turning directly towards them.
We like to say that change is hard but quite often we use it as an excuse to when can’t fully commit to the change. Change is not hard. We change all the time – when we want to, or when we have to. All growth comes through change. Yet, we are scared of change. Lets talk about what we can do to make change our friend and maximize our growth.
If there is one thing that I am proud of this year it is the knowledge I gained around making friends. Friends are hard to find when we don’t make an effort. But as soon as we are not afraid anymore to put ourselves out there and meet people, friends will come. This episode is a good reminder that friends can can come in all colors and sizes and if you are finding yourself alone over the upcoming holiday season, give some of my tips a try.
Conflict is inevitable and its actually good. Because every conflict reveals something we need to learn. The four truths I share in this episode are a great reminder for us to approach conflict with an open mind about our own feelings and understandings and that of the other person. And if we look at it like that, we can learn more than we think.
Surrender is one of the most effective strategies I have used in many fights and arguments. And since I spoke a lot about conflict and relationships during the last 100 episodes, this one is worth repeating.
If we wait until we are ready, we would never take a job, be parents or purchase a home. We would not start much in life. We get ready along the way. The key to ready is to start. We spent to much time thinking, analyzing, and worrying. And this is why this episode is important and worth repeating.
When we desperately want to find our passion, we often overlook our talents. We hide them, we leave them undeveloped, and we consider them foolish. Yet, if we try to use our talents more, we might at the same time find more joy and fulfillment in our daily lives.
It can seem challenging, even frustrating, when we try to figure out what our passion is. Especially, when everyone advices us to follow it. Our passions are not always clear to us, so we have to do some experimenting and playing around to find them. This means, not waiting for them to show up, but doing something so we notice them.
In a 24/7 world, words come easy. But that does not mean they are the right words. Oftentimes we say to much. Action can be more effective than many words.
Does it seem challenging to find an inner connection with ourselves? Our world can be noisy, overwhelming and distracting.
Yet, the direction for our life comes from within us.
