The Stoics like to remind us in many of their texts to keep the end always present in our minds. Why? Because it brings more awareness to everything we do in the moment. I take their advice as follows: Know where you are going. Have a sense of direction. Not everything has to be clear and defined, but a sense of purpose will avoid unnecessary loss of valuable time.
