We are reviewing the SCARF model in today’s episode. I recently learned about this model and find it highly applicable to our quest. It was first published in 2008 by David Rock. SCARF is an acronym, that stands for the following 5 words, all of which have important implications for collaborating and influencing people.

  • Status
  • Certainty
  • Autonomy
  • Relatedness
  • Fairness

We will go over each of these and talk about their application for our personal and professional lives.
