Erich Fried was an Austrian-born poet, writer and translator. He initially became known in both Germany and Austria for his political poetry, and later for his love poems. His poetry and writing was very influential for me in my teenage years growing up in Germany.
Today I want to share 2 of my favorite poems with you. I was happy to find the them translated into English as I know he is probably not very well known here. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
