A recent scare brought me to a halt and had me contemplate the art of slowing down. Not slowing down as in being lazy. But slowing down to refocus and re-evaluate ones priorities. We can get really caught up in task mode at times, and losing sight of the direction we want to go. Tasks are quickly checked off, giving us a sense of accomplishment. But its often when we immerse ourselves in the longer projects, those that support our purpose and vision, that we can both focus and relax at the same time. Because they offer true joy.
