Lately I’ve been thinking about the phrase “Means to and end” which we use often. What does it mean to use something or someone as a means to an end? I found a quote from Gandhi that illustrates it well. The means to an end determine the end. The end may be the same result but the means by which it was achieved change it. Often we think only about the end and employ whatever means necessary.  When it really is the means the we need to think about more.
